WesTrax®— IVR/IWR Technology

WesTrax® is Westat’s proprietary interactive voice response (IVR) and interactive web response (IWR) system. It provides the logistical support that is an important component of a clinical development program. WesTrax uses both telephone and web technology. It can be used for patient randomization and enrollment services, as well as clinical supply management.

The WesTrax system provides 24-hour tracking and support by staff coordinators, programmers, and clinical supply experts. Westat also provides administrative clinical logistics for site and specimen management.

Westat offers two voice/web interactive systems:

  • Standard WesTrax meets the needs of less complex studies in a cost-effective and efficient manner, typically implemented within 4 weeks.
  • Customized WesTrax is designed for more comprehensive studies.
