AHRQ Health Care Innovations Exchange
In 2008, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) launched the Health Care Innovations Exchange, the nation's largest Web-based collection of evidence-rated health care delivery innovations and QualityTools. Operated and maintained by Westat, the Innovations Exchange enables users to share and discover innovations in the delivery of health services. It is also designed to facilitate networking and learning about the process of innovation and adopting the innovations of others. The site is designed to help nurses, health care leaders, physicians, and other health professionals reduce health care disparities and improve health care overall. The AHRQ Health Care Innovations Exchange is also the home of the agency's QualityTools initiative, which assembles hundreds of publicly available tools useful for understanding, evaluating, and improving the quality of care.
