Our Gaithersburg, MD facility is dedicated solely to Medical Data Collection. The following positions are located in our Gaithersburg Telephone Research Center.
Telephone Interviewing (Job Code: WW/MPS/8806) We are seeking highly motivated individuals to contact doctors’ offices and hospitals by telephone for a long-term national health care study. We offer a relaxed, supportive environment and specialized training. Qualifications include experience in medical terminology, health insurance, or medical billing practices OR previous interviewing experience with business or professional personnel. Requirements include excellent verbal communication skills; a clear speaking voice; neat, legible handwriting; and attention to detail. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. We offer $11.50 per hour to start, along with incentive programs, a flexible daytime schedule, paid training, free parking, and discounted Metro/Ride-On cards. Medical Billing (Job Code: WW/MPS/8807) We are seeking highly motivated individuals to review medical charts and billing records from medical providers and billing services and extract relevant medical and expenditure information onto a paper form. Qualifications include completion of health information technology courses and/or certification OR work experience within a health information department, hospital billing department or medical billing service. Requirements include excellent written communication skills; neat, legible handwriting; and attention to detail. MUST be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. We offer $11.50 per hour to start, along with incentive programs, a flexible daytime schedule, paid training, free parking, and discounted Metro/Ride-On cards. Nonmedical Telephone Data Collectors
Telephone data collectors administer questionnaires over the telephone. They read the questions aloud clearly and distinctly and record the respondent's answers accurately. Our studies are typically conducted in English but often require individuals who can also conduct the study in other languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Korean. Telephone data collectors are paid on an hourly basis.
