Training System Specialist (Job Code WW/CS/8215) We are seeking a training system specialist with 6+ years
of experience for a large national health study to work under the direct supervision of the training system coordinator.
You will update and provide user support for the Learning Management System (LMS), monitor training compliance, assist in
developing IT related training materials, and provide technical assistance for computer-based training, interactive web sessions,
and video demonstrations. Candidates should have strong communication skills and experience with training strategies and
Learning Management Systems. A bachelor's degree is required. A background in health-related training work or research
studies is a plus.
Senior Systems Analyst/SAS (Job Code WW/CS/8214) We are seeking an individual with 8 or more years of experience in designing and developing SAS applications for complex data management activities. Candidate should have strong BASE SAS, SAS Macro, data manipulation, and analytic skills. You will provide hands-on supervision and technical direction to programmers and analysts in our multiproject environment. A statistical background is a plus. A bachelor's degree is required.
Technical Support Desk Staff (Job Code WW/CS/8213) We are seeking an individual to join the Technical Support Desk team on a national study of children's health. Responsibilities may include assisting investigators, data collectors, and other study staff who are using study computer systems and applications; supporting collaboration, document sharing, and general communication between study centers; researching, classifying, and helping to resolve staff questions on study operations; and troubleshooting problems with document scanners, barcode readers, and other study equipment. The qualified candidate must have excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented, work well in a team environment, have solid computer skills, and an aptitude for learning software applications. A bachelor's degree is required.
Apple Technical Support Engineer (Job Code WW/CS/8212) We are seeking an Apple support engineer to provide Mac OS X server maintenance including Apple's Xserve, Xserve RAID, Xsan as well as graphic-related applications running on both Apple and Windows platforms. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in a graphics or multimedia environment, including installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting application software, hardware, and peripherals. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a computer-related curriculum.
Senior Java Systems Engineer/Developer (Job Code WW/CS/8211) We are seeking an experienced senior systems engineer/developer with proven success designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented, multitiered web-based systems using Java and J2EE technologies. You will support the development and operations of Java-based applications and components as part of a large enterprise system supporting domestic and international users. Candidate should have 8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of work with Java/J2EE technology. Knowledge of the Spring framework is desirable. Other required technical skills include database modeling and development, systems integration, and the application of XML technologies (e.g., web services). Experience with Oracle is essential, with PL/SQL skills a plus. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a computer science-related curriculum.
Requirements Analyst (Job Code (WW/CS/8202) We are seeking a requirements analyst with strong health research background and IT experience, preferably including SAS and RDBMS. You will develop functional requirements (business requirements), use cases, and workflow analysis for major systems in a health research environment. Experience with web-based data collection and QC systems for health research is preferred. Candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree is required and an advanced degree is a plus.
Entry Level Web Application Developer (Job Code WW/CS/8203) We are seeking an entry-level web application developer to develop and maintain object-oriented and web-based systems using the .NET framework. You will support the development of .NET applications used by multiple projects and user groups within the organization. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a computer science-related curriculum or experience that includes 1-3 years of object-oriented software development using .NET technology (i.e., ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and VB.NET) or a closely related technology such as Java. Experience with RDBMS, especially SQL Server, is a plus and knowledge of other software languages and technologies is desirable.
Web Developers (Job Code WW/CS/8205) We have several openings for web application developers with up to 10 years of experience who are skilled in .Net technology (i.e., ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and VB.NET), HTML, ASP, XML, and SQL Server. Some positions may require some combination of Access, VB, Oracle, XSL, XSLT, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Windows, and Macintosh platforms.
