Westat has experience in a wide range of infectious disease and immunology studies involving adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations. Since 1987, Westat has supported several large government-sponsored clinical trial networks conducting Phase I-IV and observational protocols. Most of these protocols are conducted under INDs and implemented in collaboration with representatives from pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. Additional experience includes the management of Phase I-IV clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Therapeutic areas of expertise include HIV, respiratory infections, HPV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis B, C, and G.
