Westat has supported clinical trials and epidemiological studies in cancer for more than 25 years, working with multinational pharmaceutical companies, Federal Government cancer research programs, and small technology-driven start-up firms. In addition, Westat has provided support to NCI for several of its major extramural clinical research networks in cooperative oncology group management, chemoprevention, and cancer screening. Westat’s oncology clinical trial experience includes vaccine, gene therapy, monoclonal antibody and chemotherapy intervention trials, as well as screening and prevention studies.
