2018 Clinical Trials Conference Draws Westat Expertise

How can researchers get practical answers to real world questions? What’s the evidence on trial planning milestones? Westat staff answer these questions at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Clinical Trials (SCT), May 20-23, 2018, in Portland, Oregon.

This conference brings together members of the clinical trials community from academic, government agencies, pharmaceutical and device industries, medical groups and centers, and clinical research organizations.

The following Westat staff (names in bold) will be participating:

P.D. Lipman, L. Dluzak, and C.M. Stoney. (Presentation). Pragmatic Trial Management:  Exploring Evidence for Trial Planning Milestones.

K. Loudon, A. Cook, A. El Feky, H. Gardner, P.D. Lipman, and S. Treweek. (Workshop). PRECIS-2:  Precisely How Can This Tool Help Investigators Design Studies to Achieve Practical Answers to “Real World” Questions?
