AEA Annual Conference Draws Westat Evaluation Expertise
Westat staff will be participating in Eval21, the American Evaluation Association (AEA) 2021 Annual Meeting, which takes place November 8-12, 2021. The theme is AEA at 35: Meeting the Moment, where participants recognize the realities of these uncertain times and share their stories about what they’ve have learned over the past 35 years.
Debra Rog, Ph.D., Westat Vice President and past President of AEA, will participate in a plenary session on Thursday, November 11, "Looking Back to Look Forward: Reflections from AEA Past Presidents." She will share reflections on the theme of her presidential year, how it informs the moment we are in, including progress that has been made and work that is still to be done.
Westat is an exhibitor and a sponsor of the AEA Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI). This program’s goal is to engage and support students from groups traditionally under-represented in the field of evaluation.
