Best Employers for Women? Westat Ranked #40

Westat is #40 of 300 companies on the Forbes’ list of Best Employers for Women 2018. This list is the culmination of Forbes’ first survey to discover what employees consider as the best employers for women. Earlier this year, Westat was noted on Forbes’ Best Midsize Employers List for 2018.

Forbes reached out to 40,000 U.S. employees, including 25,000 women, from companies with a minimum of 1,000 employees in the United States.

The focus was on topics relevant to women and their experiences in their workplace such as:

  • How employees rated their companies on working conditions and diversity, and if they’d recommend their employer to others
  • How female employees would rate their company on parental leave, discrimination, pay equity, etc.
