James Jenness Discusses Automated Vehicle Issues, 2018 Conference

James Jenness, Ph.D., Westat’s Director of the Human Factors Group, is participating in the intelligent transport systems (ITS) conference 25th ITS World Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is being held September 17-21, 2018.

Dr. Jenness participated on a panel session, User-Centric Approaches Enabling Wider Acceptance of Automated Vehicles in Mixed Traffic. He also serves as a member of the U.S. delegation on a “twinning” initiative to align U.S. and E.U. research on connected and automated vehicle issues.

The Congress provides the opportunity for stakeholders to network to move initiatives forward and to develop their business by exhibiting and demonstrating state-of-the-art intelligent transport systems solutions.
