New Telemundo 44 Series Focuses on Health; Features Westat Expertise

Telemundo 44 is launching a weekly health series airing on Sundays in February 2019 and has reached out to Westat for our expertise on health research.  Cristina Rabadán-Diehl, Ph.D., a Westat Associate Director, will be interviewed about the flu on February 3 and about diabetes on February 10. The shows air at 9:30 a.m.

The goal of the series, Tu Salud Tu Familia (Your Health Your Family), is to educate the Hispanic community on different diseases and the value of participating in clinical trials to help develop new treatments.

Dr. Rabadán-Diehl brings her expertise in multidisciplinary biomedical sciences and global health research and policy.

The series is a cooperative initiative of the Emerson Diversity Health Foundation and Telemundo 44 WZDC.
