Ning Rui Elected a Program Co-Chair for the American Educational Research Association (AERA)

As Program Co-Chair of the NAEP Studies SIG of the AERA, Ning Rui is looking forward to continuing to contribute to the organization.

Ning Rui, Ph.D., a Westat Senior Study Director, has recently been elected as Program Co-Chair of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Studies Special Interest Group (SIG) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). His 2-year term starts immediately and expires at the end of the 2022 AERA Annual Meeting.

“I feel very honored to be elected to this position and am excited to begin working with other executive committee members,” notes Dr. Rui. “Having been a longtime member of AERA and a member of the editorial board of the American Educational Research Journal, I see my new role as a great opportunity to continue my contribution to the organization and help the NAEP Studies SIG attract submissions of studies with the highest quality, reflecting a wide range of perspectives, topics, and methods.”
