Randomized Trials Compare 2 Triple Antiretrovirals: Westat Supports Research Comparing Their Safety, Effectiveness

Which is safer and more effective: raltegravir-antiretroviral (ART) or efavirenz-ART? Westat supports the research for these trials, and the finding will be discussed at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) in Seattle, Washington, March 4-7, 2019.

Westat staff members Lauren Laimon and Roslyn Hennessey provide protocol management and team coordination support, and Westat clinical research associates (CRAs) perform protocol-specific site monitoring for the trials.

The conference provides a forum for basic scientists and clinical investigators to present, discuss, and critique their investigations into the epidemiology and biology of human retroviruses and associated diseases.
