Summer Learning & Enrichment Collaborative’s Final Virtual Session: August 12, 2021

The final virtual session of the Summer Learning & Enrichment Collaborative for the National Comprehensive Center will take place Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 3 pm (ET). The Collaborative brings together an array of education stakeholders across the country to devise new ways to support students and families, and especially those disproportionately affected by COVID-19.

Dr. Miguel A. Cardona, the Secretary of U.S. Department of Education, is going to open up the session with conversation with a group of students about their experiences this summer followed by 6 tabletop discussions on a variety of topics.

The goal is to reflect on this summer’s activities and use those lessons to develop creative, safe, and supportive spaces for students to learn and thrive as they get back to school.
