Westat at the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) 2018 Fall Research Conference
Westat staff will be presenting and discussing papers and posters on topics as diverse as school choice, multi-armed randomized experiments, enhanced counseling, productivity in rural education, and more at the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) 2018 Fall Research Conference November 8-10, 2018, in Washington, DC. Westat is a Bronze sponsor of the event.
Stephen H. Bell, Ph.D., a Westat Vice President and Director of Evaluation Research, and coauthors are to receive the Raymond Vernon Memorial Award for the best article published in the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM) in 2018 at the conference.
“What Interventions Work Best for Families Who Experience Homelessness? Impact Estimates from the Family Options Study" was coauthored by Daniel Gubits, Marybeth Shinn, Michelle Wood, Scott R. Brown, Samuel R. Dastrup, and Dr. Bell.
This prestigious scholarly honor is conveyed each year by APPAM. The award will be presented at the Membership & Awards Breakfast on Friday, November 9.
