Westat Hosts Society for Health Communication – Ad Council Webinar on COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign: September 1, 2021

On September 1, 2021, Westat will host a webinar sponsored by the Society for Health Communication and the Ad Council. Panelists for Communicating on COVID-19 Vaccination – Past, Present, and Future are

  • Charysse Nunez, Insights Lead on the Ad Council’s vaccination education initiative
  • Tony Foleno and Catherine Chao, the Ad Council’s Senior Vice President and Vice President for Strategy & Evaluation

Terry Savage, M.A., a Westat Vice President and President of the Society for Health Communication, will introduce the panelists and moderate the question-and-answer session.

The push for COVID-19 vaccination in the U.S. represents one of the largest and most consequential public health interventions in the nation’s history. For the past 8 months, a diverse array of health communications professionals have led communications and social marketing programs at the local, state, and national levels designed to increase COVID-19 vaccine uptake, with an aim of improving vaccine confidence. Panelists will discuss what have we learned, what we need to prioritize, and how to plan for new contingencies or challenges.
