Westat Visited by Maryland’s U.S. Senator Ben Cardin

(R to L) Westat’s Scott Royal and Jeri Mulrow welcome Senator Ben Cardin to our Rockville headquarters

Maryland’s U.S. Senator Ben Cardin visited Westat’s Rockville campus on Monday, August 12, 2019. Senator Cardin met with senior Westat staff and discussed the role of state and federal government contractors and issues such as health care, information security, environmental protection, and more. He also talked about the value of research to inform the development of policies that benefit Maryland residents and the nation.

“This was a unique opportunity for us to share our capabilities and hear from Senator Cardin about his priorities,” said Westat President Scott Royal, Ph.D. “I’m glad we had an opportunity to host him and his staff.”
