Westat Wins Gold in 2018 MarCom Awards
Westat’s Momentos video has received a Gold MarCom Award in the Video/Film Category. The video marks the culmination of Innovation Next, a program of Power to Decide (formerly the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy). The work was funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The grant challenged teams to bring a “design thinking” approach to teen pregnancy prevention efforts.
Momentos is a weekly text message service for Spanish-speaking parents with practical guidance for communicating with their children about sexual health.
Momentos integrates smaller discussions into daily family life. The program guides parents on how to identify and make use of frequent and natural teaching moments.
The video was developed in partnership with Identity, Inc., and SABEResPODER.
