Through cooperative agreements with many government organizations, Westat strengthens the capabilities of laboratories and clinics in more than 50 sites across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America. We have a cadre of skilled staff and specialists who have extensive experience with international laboratories and broad scientific expertise in areas of virology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and microbiology. Our laboratory professionals and consultants offer expertise in diverse areas, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and cancer treatment and diagnostics.
