Westat is recognized for the quality of its research. We use our expertise to guide the entire communications life cycle, including formative research and process and outcome evaluations. We conduct literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, web panels, and population-based surveys to assess the impact of national campaigns on knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. We monitor the implementation of campaign or program activities to guide refinements to messaging or strategy as a program matures. We measure impact, describe successes, document lessons learned, demonstrate accountability, and advance the state of knowledge.
