Matthew Finster, PhD, a Westat Senior Study Director, and Anthony Milanowski, PhD, a Research Scientist at Education Analytics, are serving as guest editors for a special issue of the Journal of Education Human Resources (JEHR) about Talent Analytics in Education. The central aim of talent analytics is promoting the acquisition, development, and retention of the educator workforce through the analysis of employee-related data.

The Journal of Education Human Resources seeks manuscripts that help us to explore the “big” question: How can talent analytics be used to strategically manage the educator workforce and improve student outcomes?
“I’m excited to serve as a guest editor on this special issue to raise the conversation about using talent analytics to better manage the educator workforce,” notes Finster.
