Westat-Developed Campaign for CDC Wins a PRNews Digital PR Award


Westat’s work performed for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) 2015 National Influenza Vaccination Week campaign has been honored by the Digital PR Awards from PRNews. Westat’s mobile social gaming campaign received an Honorable Mention in the Mobile Campaign category.

This first-to-market campaign ran a CDC flu vaccination PSA between levels of free popular games users play on their mobile devices. The campaign incentivized users with bonus game points to watch the PSA to completion and encouraged them to post prescripted flu vaccination messages on Twitter.
