Westat has launched the Center for Youth With Multi-System Involvement. Its focus is to promote the health and well-being of children, youth, and families facing complex behavioral health challenges and involvement in multiple systems. These issues include mental health and substance use treatment, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and primary health care.
The center provides evaluation, research, training and technical assistance, communications, and policy analysis with the goal of improving policy, systems development, and service delivery.
