WIC helps mothers feed their babies well

The results are in for the first year of the Feeding My Baby Study, research that describes the feeding practices used by mothers of infants who participate in WIC, USDA’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. Over the years, WIC has become one of parents’ most relied-on sources of information about nutrition for infants and young children. The latest study data show a dramatic increase over time in WIC’s influence in promoting healthy feeding practices for babies.
