Brenda Brewer is an Associate Director for Clinical Research. Her clinical research experience focuses on cancer intervention and screening trials as well as infectious disease. She has also led international in-country assessments of the marketing by baby food companies in India, Thailand, and Nigeria. This research has led to more effective cancer screening guidelines for lung cancer, and it helps to prevent and evaluate therapies for HIV and other emerging infectious diseases. This works supports studies of the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and nonprofit organizations.
