Robert Drake
Robert Drake, MD, PhD, is a Senior Advisor for Social Policy and Economics Research. He is also the Andrew Thomson Professor of Health Policy and Clinical Practice at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. His work on psychiatric rehabilitation over 4+ decades includes integrated treatments for people with dual disorders, evidence-based mental health practices, and implementing vocational services. He co-developed the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment, an evidence-based practice now used across the U.S. and around the world.
Drake has worked with patients, led clinical teams and mental health centers, conducted research projects, trained researchers, and published 600+ articles and books.
