Russ Mardon, Ph.D., an Associate Director for Behavioral Health and Health Policy, is an epidemiologist and health services researcher. His work has focused on improving the delivery of high-quality health care through innovative uses of data, measurement, and research evidence. He is an expert on evidence-based practices, quality of care measurement and innovation, chronic disease surveillance methods, and statistical modeling and analysis. This work helps to promote high-quality health care by giving clinicians, patients, and caregivers the information they need to make important health care decisions.
Dr. Mardon has worked most recently in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute; and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
