The 2023 election for the Washington-Baltimore Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (DC-AAPOR) selected 2 Westat staff to serve on the 2024 DC-AAPOR Executive Council.
Sarah Dipko, MS, a Senior Study Director, is a survey methodologist, survey operations manager, and senior data manager in Westat’s Research Operations Services (ROS) with 30 years of experience encompassing all aspects of the survey research process. She will serve as President of the Chapter. Dipko previously served as the DC-AAPOR Treasurer in 2012.
Lena Centeno, MA, a Senior Study Director in Westat’s Large Surveys Practice, has 12 years of survey methodology experience, including survey design, survey administration training, field operations, systems integration, data analysis, training materials development, and client and stakeholder relations and support. She will serve as Membership Chair/Secretary in her first appointment to the Council.
DC-AAPOR is the oldest and largest of AAPOR’s regional chapters with an official history dating back to 1977 and an informal one going back to the early 1950s. Congratulations and thanks to all staff members who keep Westat an active player in this regional chapter of AAPOR, as well as the national AAPOR community!
