2018 Unlinkable Data Challenge Competition: Westat Entry Honored

Providing real solutions for data releases won Westat researchers honors at the 2018 Unlinkable Data Challenge competition this summer. The event was sponsored by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Westat was awarded an Honorable Mention. The research team included Sigurd Hermansen, Tom Krenzke, Jane Li, Marcelo Simas, and a Westat consultant, Natalie Shlomo of the University of Manchester. The entry placed third in the Popular Choice voting and the technical judging by NIST.
