2024 WIC Conference: Advancing Nutrition Education

Westat’s Food and Nutrition researchers will attend the 2024 National WIC Association’s Nutrition Education & Breastfeeding Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, from November 19-21. The annual conference aims to explore new research, technology, trends, and best practices in nutrition and breastfeeding.

In celebration of WIC’s 50th anniversary, this year’s conference theme is “Nourishing Generations – The Next 50 Years of WIC.” This theme reflects the commitment to advancing WIC’s mission, supporting families nationwide, and equipping the program for future generations over the next 50 years.

Westat staff (in bold) will be participating in the following presentations.

Tuesday, November 19

1:30 – 2:30pm (ET)

Wednesday, November 20
