Westat experts are participating in the National Association of Welfare Research and Statistics (NAWRS) Workshop in Charlotte, NC, August 3-6. Westat is also sponsoring a breakfast on Tuesday, August 5, from 7:30-9:00 am, to support networking and collaboration among attendees.
Westat’s Emily Sama-Miller, MPP, will present Building Rigorous Evidence on a New Two-Generation Initiative: Learning What to Test, and How on Tuesday, August 5, as part of the “Responding to the Special Needs of Children and Families” session.
“This NAWRS Workshop brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers focused on strengthening support systems for families,” said Allison Hyra, PhD, an Associate Vice President at Westat. “It offers a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and share research that informs program design and implementation.”
