Digital Innovation Spotlighted at 2025 NWA Technology Conference

August 29, 2025

Westat’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) experts will be at the National WIC Association’s 2025 NWA Technology, Innovation, and Vendor Management Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, September 3-5, 2025. The theme of the conference is Engage, Inspire, Energize: Driving WIC Innovation and Technology Forward, and attendees will collaborate and share ideas for improving WIC participant access, promote flexibility, and empower practitioners.

Westat’s Lissa Sirois, MPH, will join our partners on Wednesday, September 3 at 3:00 pm to present  Designing the Future: Digital Innovation for WIC and FMNP Services. Their presentation will focus on how digital innovation is modernizing WIC and Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) services. The U.S. Department of Agriculture-funded WIC and FMNP Digital Services project helps agencies enhance service delivery through human-centered design, innovative toolkits, and tailored support. Discover how digital tools and collaborative strategies are building staff capacity, improving participant experiences, and driving program modernization.
