Aemon Weaver, a health communications specialist at Westat, has been selected to join Emerging 100 of South Metro Atlanta, a men’s civic organization and service club dedicated to educating and empowering African American youth. The Emerging 100 is a program of the 100 Black Men of America, which focuses on providing one-on-one and group mentoring to young professionals after graduation from college. Members include current congressional representatives, leaders of notable companies, and former U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher, M.D., Ph.D.

Mr. Weaver’s chapter will assist with initiatives that support developing social, emotional, and educational needs of Atlanta youth and students at the Atlanta University Center.
