ED Video Developed by Westat Wins Silver Telly Award

A video about the Maine Schools of Excellence Program that Westat developed for the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has won a Silver Telly Award in the category of Non-Broadcast Government Relations.

The video was produced by the Teacher Incentive Fund project and is part of the Teacher & Leadership Programs website. The programs support projects in developing and implementing an integrated Human Capital Management System to increase educator effectiveness and student achievement in high-need schools. Westat has supported ED in this work since 2006.

The Telly Awards honor the best in TV and cable, digital and streaming, and non-broadcast productions. Its mission has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting, and supporting creativity. On average, the Telly Awards receive over 13,000 entries yearly from all 50 states and 5 continents.
