Andreea Erciulescu, PhD, who is an Associate Vice President for Statistics and Data Science at Westat, has been invited to serve as an Editor for the International Statistical Review. This is the flagship journal of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and its family of Associations. The journal publishes research papers that cover significant statistical issues of interest to members of the Institute and all professional statisticians and researchers in interdisciplinary areas. Erciulescu’s term as Editor starts immediately and will last for 4 years.
In selecting Erciulescu, the Editorial Board acknowledged her expertise in survey statistics and its interaction with other areas in statistics, such as combining multiple surveys and non-survey sources. The Board believes that this is helpful for further enhancing the journal’s reputation.
