Brian Sokol Spotlights WesLytics™ on Inaugural Brick Lounge Podcast Episode

Brian Sokol, MS, Westat’s Vice President for Data Architecture and Data Engineering, was the inaugural guest on the new Brick Lounge podcast (YouTube), where he discussed WesLytics, Westat’s data intelligence platform, and its role in advancing modern, data-driven research. The podcast is also available on Spotify.

In the conversation, Sokol shared how WesLytics, powered by Databricks, enables Westat to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative data solutions for clients. He also described how the platform strengthens Westat’s ability to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in research.

In this free-flowing conversation, he discussed feeling motivated by the opportunity to apply cutting-edge technology for the public good. He highlighted how Westat is leveraging these AI innovations to address critical public health challenges, such as advancing nutrition, preventing disease, and improving educational outcomes.
