Westat has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2022, ranking at #56 out of 70 employers honored in the State of Maryland where the company is headquartered. This recognition is the product of responses to a survey of 70,000 U.S. employees across 25 industry sectors, working for employers with at least 500 employees. Forbes collected direct recommendations from employees as well as indirect recommendations from workers in our industry—professional services. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience, such as working conditions, salary, potential for growth, and diversity. Thousands of companies were eligible for this recognition, but only a select few, 1,382, made the cut across 50 states and the District of Columbia.
“Our employees are the bedrock of our success as a company as well as within the professional services community,” notes President and CEO Scott Royal, Ph.D. “To be recognized as one of the best-in-state employers by our own staff speaks to our inclusive culture and to the commitment we bring every day to our work.”
