Overview

Ann Truelove is a Senior Research Associate for Public Health with more than 20 years of experience in epidemiologic and laboratory research. She has extensive experience in epidemiologic studies, especially longitudinal cohort and molecular studies. Truelove has developed procedures, methodologies, and manuals; created questionnaires, instruments, and data collection forms; conducted in-person and remote training sessions for field staff; managed all aspects of large- and small-scale studies, including extensive biospecimen collections; and provided support for ongoing data management following data collection. She has prepared institutional review board (IRB) applications and requests for data linkage to disease surveillance systems, including state cancer registries, the National Death Index (NDI), and CMS.

Truelove serves as a project director for the Metabolic Epidemiology Branch and the Integrative Tumor Epidemiology Branch (ITEB) support services contracts with NCI and the follow-up of the DES-Exposed Cohorts Study. She oversees and manages monthly budgets, cost reports, and progress reports; meets monthly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR); reviews scopes of work (SOWs); prepares Contracting Officer Authorization (COA) requests; and coordinates subcontracts, consulting agreements, and purchase orders.
