Dennis Pickett is a Vice President and Westat’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and has over 25 years of experience in IT and security leadership with more than 2 decades of experience providing infrastructure and security strategy, engineering, and compliance solutions. He manages all corporate information security and oversees individual projects’ implementation and maintenance of effective security controls and their compliance with industry best practice practices and federal requirements.
Pickett has been published as a co-author in the peer-reviewed security publication ISACA Journal and also has a position as an Adjunct Professor at Montgomery College’s Information Technology Institute (ITI), where he teaches classes on cyber security, cloud computing, networking, and other IT-related subjects.
