Overview

Jennifer Bryant is a Principal Research Associate with 20 years of experience in leading globally based on-site and remote teams in the administration of complex, interdisciplinary HIV/AIDS and gene therapy clinical trials. She excels in managing multisite networks for clinical centers, conducting site qualification and readiness visits, negotiating contracts, initiating protocols, and overseeing site activities to ensure compliance with study protocols. Bryant promotes full-service client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, preparing performance metrics and progress reports, developing cost-conscious budgets, supervising and coordinating the work of staff, and ensuring that all deliverables are of high quality and on time.

Bryant serves as the site monitoring manager for NICHD’s Adolescent Trials Network for HIV/AIDS Interventions (ATN) Operations and Collaborations Center (OCC). She has served as the project director for the NICHD International and Domestic Pediatric and Maternal HIV and Other Infectious Diseases Data Coordinating Center, and under that contract, she partnered with an expert in preclinical models of HIV antiretroviral safety in pregnancy for an International Maternal, Pediatric, Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) study.

In former positions, Bryant served as a clinical trial manager and clinical lead. She managed the site monitoring for the first directly administered FDA-approved gene therapy project targeting a disease caused by mutations in a specific gene as well as supported COVID vaccine, infectious diseases, and ophthalmology clinical trials. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional through SOCRA and currently is on the board of directors.
