Overview

Jennifer Edwards, PhD, is a Principal Research Associate for Social Policy and Economic Research. She has expertise in the provision of training and technical assistance; the evaluation of programs, policies, and processes; the facilitation of interagency collaboration; strategic planning; and quality assurance processes. She directs Westat’s support to the Defense Health Agency’s Survey of Beneficiaries and other projects focused on the health and well-being of service members, their families, and veterans. She also provides methodological, task management, and quality assurance support to projects in education and behavioral health.

Prior to joining Westat and the former Insight Policy Research (now Westat), she served as a science advisor and program manager within USMC, guiding the integration of social science methods and analytic quality standards and leading research, evaluation, and workforce development efforts for the service and broader DoD.
