Overview

Jill Feldman, PhD, is a Principal Research Associate for Education Studies with more than 20 years of experience designing and managing large-scale social science research and evaluation projects. She is an expert in research design, program evaluation, instrument development, fidelity measurement, technical assistance, and professional learning. Feldman directs mixed-methods evaluation projects, including AT&T’s Connected Learning and NIH’s flagship investment in K-12 STEM education, and rigorous impact evaluations, including the University System of Maryland’s Mathematics Reform Initiative, obesity prevention initiatives in North Carolina childcare centers, and a multistate evaluation of the Healthy Schools Program.

Earlier in her career, Feldman held positions at organizations including Research for Better Schools, Temple University, and the Education Testing Service. She is a What Works Clearinghouse reviewer and holds certificates in IES/NCES Cluster Randomized Trials and Quasi-Experimental Design and Analysis in Education from the Institute of Policy Research. She is an author of numerous publications and frequently participates in and presents at professional meetings and conferences.
