Laura Wilson

Overview

Laura Wilson is a Senior Research Associate for Transportation. She has 13 years of project and survey operations management experience for large-scale household travel surveys and travel behavior research in areas such as Chicago, Kansas City, Maryland, Texas, Salt Lake City, Western North Carolina, Albuquerque, and Fairbanks. She has a depth of experience in managing survey operations, including survey design, data collection, and data quality assurance. Wilson has extensive experience with studies that use location-based and sensor technologies, such as GPS-enhanced smartphone applications, GPS loggers, and accelerometers to measure travel behavior. She also has expertise with cartography and GIS using open-source and commercial mapping programs.
