Michael Hornbostel

Overview

Michael Hornbostel is a Principal Research Associate for Survey Management and Design with more than 20 years of experience in research methods, data collection, and project management. He has served as the project director and task leader for studies focused on a range of topics related to military veterans, such as active-duty service, healthcare, labor force participation, and the transition from active-duty military to civilian life.

Hornbostel oversees day-to-day project management, including all monthly cost and activity reporting, staff supervision, client relations, and project deliverables. He has expertise in implementing multimodal surveys that involve telephone and face-to-face, mail and telephone, and web and telephone data collection.
