Overview

Shoma Ghose, PhD, is a Vice President for Behavioral Health and Health Policy. She has dedicated her career to improving the lives of individuals struggling with behavioral health conditions and creating a responsive health care system. She has more than 2 decades of experience in health care and disabilities research, technical assistance, policy analysis, and federal contracts management. Ghose has directed and played leadership roles on more than 30 federal contracts such as the SAMHSA Center for Financing Reform and Innovations (CFRI), SSA’s Supported Employment Demonstration, and the NIMH Early Psychosis Intervention Network National Data Coordinating Center.

Ghose was invited to work with HHS to coordinate with 14 federal agencies to support the publications of 2 respiratory infection-related reports. Earlier, Ghose coordinated with more than 10 federal agencies to draft Interdepartmental Serious Mental Illness Coordinating Committee (ISMICC) Reports to Congress, which help guide federal initiatives to serve the needs of individuals with serious mental illnesses and children with severe emotional problems.
