David Reesman

Vice President, General Counsel

David Reesman is Vice President, General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary and serves as Westat’s Ethics Program Compliance Officer. Mr. Reesman leads Westat’s legal function, which provides business-oriented solutions and oversight on corporate governance, employment, benefits, contracts, intellectual property, privacy, research integrity, risk management and litigation.  His legal career spans over 25 years and, prior to joining Westat in 2004, he was in private practice and then with Marriott International, Inc., where he managed the company’s worldwide specialty claims and employment litigation. 

Mr. Reesman is an avid reader and a sports and outdoors enthusiast who enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 very active daughters.
