Nancy Dianis, who joined Westat in 2001, is a Vice President and Study Area Director of Westat’s clinical trials and other related health studies. This unit conducts epidemiologic research and global health projects, including those in developing countries. Its focus is on a range of public health issues such as disease, infection, and trauma.
This research helps to better prevent and control the spread of disease. It also seeks to improve the quality of life and survival for those affected by evaluating the effects of therapies. This work supports the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Cancer Institute, to name a few.
In her free time, Ms. Dianis enjoys the adventures of travel, slipping on her deck shoes to go sailing, and hitting the greens for a nice round of golf…but not all at once.
