Rick Rogers
Rick Rogers is an Associate Director in our Large Surveys Practice. He has 25+ years of experience leading innovative and high-performing software development teams. His expertise is in developing consensus on the vision for IT projects and communicating it to stakeholders and applying rigorous analysis, coupled with creative thinking, to re-engineer business processes. Rogers directs a systems group in support of the National Assessment of Educational Progress, an ongoing, congressionally mandated survey that assesses 1,000,000+ students in 18,000+ schools in a 6-week window.
Earlier in his career, Rogers worked as the solutions architect for a team that provided cloud-based digital video hosting and storage services. He also collaborated on electronic survey design and led an award-winning business process re-engineering at the U.S. Census Bureau, resulting in significant operational savings. In addition, he created a performance model for the 2010 Decennial Census high-volume imaging operations, mitigating key bottlenecks. He holds 2 patents in the area of archival/digital records.
