Public Health & Epidemiology

Westat’s interdisciplinary public health and epidemiology sector uses an evidence-based approach to prevent and detect diseases, injuries, and other conditions in order to improve health outcomes. Our success is reflected in the contributions our clients make to advancements in preventing, diagnosing, and treating infectious and chronic diseases, particularly among vulnerable populations. Our public health staff have expertise in surveillance, program interventions, communication, evaluation, and research.
