Westat staff will be participating in the SXSU EDU Conference and Festival, being held in Austin, Texas, March 7-10, 2022. Two Westat projects are facilitating Meet Ups, which are speaker-facilitated networking events that encourage communities to connect around similar topics, passions, roles, or interests.
Summer of Learning and Enrichment, March 7, 1:30-2:30pm (ET), hosted by the National Comprehensive Center (NCC). Meet with colleagues to hear about successes and challenges of 2021 expanded summer learning and enrichment activities and what’s going to be different in summer 2022. Participants are invited to share resources and strategies. The session’s organizers hosted the 2021 National Collaborative for Summer Learning and Enrichment.
Great IDEA: Digging into Special Ed Data, March 9, 3-4:00pm (ET), hosted by the IDEA Data Center. Attendees can connect with other educators and policy professionals to see how state- and district-level data, special education services, and positive outcomes for youth with disabilities and their families are connected.
